The Massachusetts Online Will Service, brought to you by O’Connell Law LLC, is ideal for those interested in a “do-it-yourself” option who want to ensure they are getting properly drafted, up-to-date legal documents with oversight from an estate planning attorney to avoid costly mistakes.
Your plan will give you control over:
While this approach is not a substitute for fully customized, comprehensive planning, it allows you to get the essential legal documents everyone needs in a fast, affordable manner. And, you’ll get the peace of mind that comes from having a plan in place for the future.
The first step is to create your profile. Next, simply answer a series of questions. (We use this information to draft your estate planning documents.)
You will be asked to review your answers to the questions before you submit them. You can save your answers and return to them later if needed. Once you click “Submit” you will no longer be able to edit your information (so make sure you have reviewed your answers).
After clicking “Submit” you will be prompted to pay for your estate plan. Once you have paid, you will brought to our firm calendar so that you can set up your 30-minute virtual review meeting with one of our attorneys. After receiving your information and prior to your virtual review meeting with us, we’ll create your estate planning documents based on the information you provided.
During our virtual meeting together, we will walk through your estate planning documents with you and answer your questions. You will then have the opportunity to further review your documents carefully after the meeting.
Following your virtual review meeting with us, you will need to sign your estate planning documents with the necessary witnesses and notary public present. You can either schedule a time to sign your estate planning documents at our office or, if you do not want to come to our office, we will give you written instructions on what you need to do to have your estate plan signed so that it is effective. Please note that your estate plan is not effective until it is properly signed and executed.
Your plan will include all of the following essential legal documents:
We offer two online planning options, each of which includes all of the documents discussed above. If you have minor children, you can name a Guardian (or Guardians) for them in your Will.
